Chocolate magic cake
From one simple batter, this cake turns into three different layers of yumminess!
125g butter, melted
500ml milk, lukewarm
4 large eggs, separated
150g sugar
70g flour
45g cocoa powder
Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until pale and frothy.
Add the butter and mix.
Sift the flour and cocoa powder and mix, then gradually add the lukewarm milk.
Whip the egg whites then gently fold them into the mixture. Don’t worry if there are lumps of egg whites remaining.
Transfer into a baking dish (preferably silicone) and bake at 160°C for 50 to 60 minutes.
Let cool completely and refrigerate for at least 3 hours of preferably overnight.
Decorate with icing sugar, marshallows or fresh fruits.
