These two girls were just taking it easy when their dad started what seemed to be a run-of-the-mill family question.
As casual as ever, he says: "What have you been doing today?"
But he’s not really that interested in what the girls got up to. The enquiry was just a segue, you see.
“Well, do you know what we were doing today?,” dad asks, referring to himself and their mum.
“What?,” the kids ask.
After a minor spat with his wife over who should break the news to them, dad does the honours.
“We went to the hospital,” he says.
“Right,” says the teen. “Why?”
Then he delivers the big news.
“We’re having a baby.”
Straight away, the teen girl’s hand shoots to her mouth, her eyes welling up with joy, and seconds later, her little sister follows suit.
“Are you joking?,” the teen asks.
“No!” screams the younger one, in disbelief. "No, you're not!"
Minutes later, as the news truly sinks in, they’re in floods of joy - and so are we.
“So what do you think?,” dad asks, and shows them the baby scan.
“No way, oh my God,” the teen says.
Once the initial shock passes, it’s time for the questions.
“You said you had that thing that stops you having kids,” says the teen.
“I did,” mum confirms guiltily.
“Is it a surprise or are you going to find out?,” the teen asks.
“I want to find out this time,” dad says.
Then mum tells them that it’s a secret, which doesn’t go down so well with the little one.
“No, I’m telling everyone,” she yells.
Just in case their elation didn’t come across, mum ends the clip asking: “are you happy?”
Cue the Cheshire cat grins.
