It is pretty common to compare your growing bump to the sizes of fruits and vegetables, tracking your little one's development.

Well, one mum-to-be decided to compare her baby's size to something a bit more familiar... zoo animals.

Jennifer Dew, a zookeeper from Ohio, is expecting her first baby, and has been tracking her bump's growth.

Rather than comparing the size of her baby to an apple or an orange, Jennifer has been comparing the baby's size to that of various zoo animals that she works with... and it is pretty fantastic.

Jennifer has tracked her bump's growth from 19 weeks, comparing the size of her baby to a rat named Rufus.

At 23 weeks, the baby weighed the same as Avery, an umbrella cockatoo from the zoo that Jennifer works at.

We are loving this personal touch on tracking the growth of Jennifer's unborn baby.

Check out all of the adorable photos, and try not to smile.
