I posted on karen2011 thread about this.just had my second baby ,got handbook from hse and phn recommending both of the ways mentioned on how to make up bottles.with my first I boiled, cooled added formula and into fridge.heated when needed.dd would then only rake them warm .didn't get handbook that time when leaving hospital as midwife a cow and was trying to bf.with 2nd lo boiled kettle ,put boiling water straight into bottles and let cool on counter, added formula as required.lo is now 10 months and never sick.I only did it this way cause I saw it written down in black and White.I'm an awful worrier ,and even though I had friends that did it this way I didn't trust it until I read it.also with dd1 I rang the aptamil helpline abs told the same-boil water-30mins-add formula -cool-fridge.you do what you feel confortable with.
I'm expecting no 3 and will be making them up by water in bottle and meaningful counter again.find it greAt,esp for night feeds and if I don't gave any cartoons and going out.also found that my second never spat up or was extremely windy compared to my first but that could just be different babies !I posted on karen2011 thread about this.just had my second baby ,got handbook from hse and phn recommending both of the ways mentioned on how to make up bottles.with my first I boiled, cooled added formula and into fridge.heated when needed.dd would then only rake them warm .didn't get handbook that time when leaving hospital as midwife a cow and was trying to bf.with 2nd lo boiled kettle ,put boiling water straight into bottles and let cool on counter, added formula as required.lo is now 10 months and never sick.I only did it this way cause I saw it written down in black and White.I'm an awful worrier ,and even though I had friends that did it this way I didn't trust it until I read it.also with dd1 I rang the aptamil helpline abs told the same-boil water-30mins-add formula -cool-fridge.you do what you feel confortable with.

I've just started the Tony Ferguson diet today and wondered if anyone else has done it or knows of someone who has. It's a bit like Lighter Life (shakes, bars, soups) but you don't have to meet someone to counsel you. Boots stock all of the food.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has had success on it.
