It also helps to less the need for impulsivity and the cravings for immediate gratification as it works towards waking up the main function of the frontal cortex, which will then allow for delay, better choices and more time to evaluate consequences.

Exercise improves the learner; senses are heightened, focus and mood is improved. During and after exercise teen will be less fidgety and tense and feel motivated and invigorated.

Exercise helps to heighten the response to stressors, the fitter we are the less receptive we are to stress.
Mood is increased by raising the levels of our neurotransmitters that we target with our antidepressants, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin.
