Cacao smoothie
Cacao is very high in minerals like magnesium, and those who suffer from adrenal fatigue or are sensitive to stimulants may wish to go easy on it.

1 frozen banana

5 pitted dates

1 1/2tbsp cacao powder

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

80ml almond milk

125ml filtered water

1 tsp trail mix or 2 Brazil nuts and 1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 handful ice

To garnish:

1 tbsp trail mix or crushed Brazil nuts

Place banana, dates, cacao , vanilla, almond milk and filtered water in a blender with some ice and blend until smooth. 

Add the trail mix and pulse.

Garnish with extra trail mix or Brazil nuts.
