Chocolate Banana Pastries

Perfect for Afternoon Tea.
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
2 bananas, mashed
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp crushed hazelnuts, toasted
2 tbsp dark chocolate, roughly chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp milk
Preheat oven to 180°C or gas mark 4. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and set aside.
In a bowl, mash bananas and stir in the sugar, hazelnuts and chocolate.
Cut pastry sheet into 4 and place a tablespoonful of the mixture in the centre of a square and bring in the opposite corners to the centre and press them together, then repeat with the other two corners.
In a bowl, mix the egg and milk together.
Brush the pastries with the egg and milk mixture.
Place the pastries on a baking tray.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden and the chocolate slightly melted.
