Perfect for making your own homemade curry chips and fried rice, without the guilt!
28g fat
28g onion
28g flour
1 tsp curry powder
½ apple
350ml stock
1 tbsp chutney
1 soft tomato
Melt the fat and fry the onion until golden brown.
Put in the flour and curry powder and cook all together for a few minutes.
Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Add the stock gradually, stirring all the time. Bring to the boil and skim.
Add the chutney, chopped apple, tomato and salt.
Mix well together, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
Strain and use as required.
