Egg-free fried rice

This egg-free fried rice is perfect if you can't have eggs in your diet.
200g brown rice
3 tbsp olive oil
2 carrots, cubed
50g frozen peas
½ tsp turmeric
1 tbsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Half head of broccoli
Cook the rice according to packet instructions.
When it is ready, drain off any excess water and spoon in 1 tbsp of oil.
Heat the rest of the oil on a high temperature in a large frying pan.
Pour in the rice. Add the carrots, peas, tumeric, soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
Combine everything together.Fry for about 5 minutes. Before reducing the heat. Cook for a further minute.
In a seperate saucepan quickly blanch the broccoli.
Serve the rice with the broccoli. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
