Fig, mascarpone and honey tart

Stunning fig tart which is ready in less than 45 minutes and will be sure to impress.
1 sheet puff pastry
12 figs, sliced
120g mascarpone cheese
Handful fresh basil leaves
1-3 tbsp honey
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5.
Line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
Prick the pastry all over with a fork.
Spread the mascarpone cheese in a thin layer on top of the pastry.
Lay the fig slices on top of the mascarpone.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the puff pastry has risen around the figs and turns golden brown.
Leave to cool for 5 minutes, drizzle with honey and scatter with basil leaves and salt.
Serve warm.
