Greek lamb koftas
Simple and few ingredients make up these lean meatballs.

500g lamb mince

1 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp ground coriander

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tbsp chopped mint

Oil for brushing

Small red onion, sliced

Coriander, as garnish

Yoghurt and flatbreads to serve

Use a food processor or your hands to mix everything together until well blended.

Divide into 8 balls, then roll each ball then into ovals.

Thread onto 4 metal skewers and brush with oil.

Heat the griddle pan until very hot and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.

Don’t be tempted to turn until they are well sealed.

Season with salt and pepper then set aside.

Serve the koftas scattered with coriander a dollop of yoghurt some sliced red onion and flat breads.
