Soft boiled eggs with soldiers
A classic breakfast the kids and adults alike, delight in. 
 

2-4 large eggs, at room temperature

4 thin slices soft white bread

1 tbsp pesto (optional)

Put the eggs in a small pan of cold water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 3 ½ minutes.

Toast and butter the bread, cutting away the crusts.

Serve with the soft-boiled eggs with a dash of pesto over the eggs if you like for something different.
