Spicy red cabbage
This spicy red cabbage is a delicious side dish. 

1/2 head red cabbage, diced

2 tsp olive oil

½ onion, sliced

½ clove garlic, minced

½ tbsp paprika

½ tbsp chilli powder

1 red apple, finely sliced

1 tablespoon sugar

Pinch salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Cook your cabbage in a pot of water on a high temperature and bring to the boil.

Reduce the temperature and leave to simmer for a few minutes.

Drain the water and add the oil, onion and garlic. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes until crispy.

Add the paprika, chilli powder, sugar and apple.

Season with salt and pepper and leave to simmer for 20 minutes until soft.
