Brussels sprout and pea purée

15 small Brussels sprouts

100g peas, fresh or frozen

Chopped herbs

Remove the outer leaves from the sprouts and cut off the base. Bring a pan of water to the boil or steam the sprouts until just tender (about 7 minutes).

A couple of minutes before the sprouts are cooked, add the peas and herbs to the boiling water and cook until just tender.

Drain and whiz the vegetables in a food blender until smooth. You may need to add 2-3 tsp cooled, boiled water to help blend
