Easy tomato pasta sauce

This easy pasta sauce will take 10 minutes and will be devoured by the whole family.
400g penne pasta or another of your choice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
6 large beef tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp caster sugar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Cook the pasta according to packet instructions.
While the pasta is cooking, fry the oil in a frying pan on a medium temperature. Add the onion and garlic and gently for 4 minutes. Make sure they don’t burn.
Roughly cut your tomatoes and put them into the pan. Add your paste and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer until the sauce is thick.
Spoon in the sugar.
Season with the salt and pepper.
Drain the water off the pasta and pour the sauce over it.
Garnish with the parsley and serve.
