Pasta with a mushroom sauce

This mushroom sauce is so easy to whip up and the whole family will love it.
Half chopped onion
10 button mushrooms, sliced
50g butter
50ml double cream
300g penne pasta
Basil leaves to garnish
Cook your pasta according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
Melt you butter on a medium temperature for a minute before adding your sliced mushrooms. Gently cook for a couple of minutes. Season with black pepper.
Add the cream and leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
Season with salt.
Serve the pasta on a plate topped with the sauce.
