This makes a great breakfats or even brunch.
4 bacon slices
1 tsp olive oil
2 round bread roll
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs
Handful cherry tomatoes (optional)
Preheat oven to 180°C or gas mark 5.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook your bacon slices. Once cooked, remove and set aside.
While the bacon is cooking, cut your bread roll in half, you will only need the round end for the recipe.
Scoop out some of the dough, but not all of it, and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine your butter with the garlic paste. Coat the inside of the roll in the garlic butter before cracking your egg into it.
Put onto a baking tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes until the egg is cooked. Place your tomatoes, if using beside, the egg to slightly cook.
