Garlic lime chicken
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
2 1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
4 boneless,skinless chicken breast halves
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp lime juice
In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley.
Sprinkle the mixture evenly on both sides of chicken breasts.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large heavy pan over a medium heat.
Sauté the chicken until golden brown for roughly 6 minutes on each side.
Sprinkle with the rest of the garlic powder and lime juice.
Cook for a further 5 minutes and stir frequently to ensure the sauce is distributed evenly.
