Simple curly kale fries

Kids will love these healthy chips. Serve with homemade fish fingers for a truly nutritious dish.
200g curly kale leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp sea salt (optional)
½ tsp ground black pepper (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180°C or gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with baking sheets.
Wash your kale leaves and leave to dry before turning them into chips.
In a medium bowl, toss the kale with the oil, salt and pepper if using.
Place the leaves onto the tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes or until they are crisp.
Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
