Walnut pesto
Walnuts add a delicious deep flavour to this traditional pesto sauce. Serve over pasta or on delicious crusty bread. 

30g fresh basil
110ml olive oil
50g walnuts
Handful grated parmesan
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to season

Using a food processor, combine the basil, oil and walnut together.

When the walnuts are finely minced, add the cheese and garlic.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Serve over pasta or crusty bread.
