Here are some of the unwritten rules that our toddlers love to live by.

Interrupt conversations
It doesn’t matter how serious a conversation you’re having with another adult, your toddler will always have something more important to say.

All foods must be perfect
For example if your tot’s banana breaks mid peeling process, they will simply refuse to eat it. This just doesn’t apply to fruit, it can work with most foods, especially biscuits. There is no fooling your little one.

Intense staring
Who says toddlers aren’t intense? No one, can stare harder at strangers eating in a restaurant than our little tots.

Always make a mess
There is always time for your toddler to make a mess and the more creative, the better. If anything we should be impressed what our little ones can do with potted plants, toys, the dog’s bed etc. There is no limit.

Expect unnecessary loud announcements
Your tot will always feel the need to announce things that no one really needed to hear, quite loudly. The more people, the better.

Who needs clothes?
Clothes are so restricting, your little wants to be free all the time, even in public. So if you spent over half an hour putting that adorable outfit on your toddler, they will unfortunately strip it off, as soon as your back is turned.

Repeat everything
Your toddler absorbs everything like a sponge. So, if you had an accidental slip of the tongue, your tot will never forget it and constantly repeat it.

I want that!
He or she doesn’t care about the lovely meal you’ve spent hours preparing for them. No, they want what’s on your plate. Even though you know for certain that once they try it, they will hate it.

Your phone, no I think you mean my phone
Despite your best efforts to hide that tablet or phone of yours. Your toddler will seek it out, find it and use it.

No lie ins
You knew this was coming once your little one was born, but your toddler will enforce this rule. The day is young and your toddler wants you to make the most of it. Well, that’s what you tell yourself, any ways.
