With so many TV shows from America on our TV screens it is not surprising kids become interested in understanding the continent. This book is perfect if your little one is an animal fanatic. It contains a child-friendly atlas, animal photos, weird facts, information on the animals’ habitats and lots more. Your child will be taken around the world without having to leave their bedroom.

This book covers wildlife, climate change and how people affect the world around them. It is full of activities on conservation and recycling and contains colour photographs and diagrams. This would be a great book for a summer project on recycling and conservation.  
 
While your son or daughter will learn the subject in school, there is no harm having a few books floating around the house to grab their attention and satisfy their curiosity.
