A photograph of a baby on the popular photo sharing site Imgur has gone viral, and it’s INSANE.
The image, uploaded by user bretstar, depicts a baby trapped in a plastic/metal contraption with two rosy cheeks and it's arms up in the air.
And we’re not going to lie; we for real thought the baby was sitting in some sort of blender!
And straight away you’re thinking the image has to be photo-shopped, right?
Wrong.
The image is in no way photo-shopped, which makes for jaws dropping all around.
The contraption is in fact a Pigg-O-Stat.
A Pigg-O-Stat is a ‘baby holder’ of sorts, used in hospitals to help get a clear X-ray or scan of a baby first time, so that the baby won’t have too much exposure to radiation.
While the idea is genius in that your baby will have less exposure to radiation, would you put your child in one?
