Looby Lou Designs are a fabulous range of contemporary canvas kits to inspire girls and boys to create their own special and personalised pictures. The kits are suitable for children ages 3+ and were carefully designed so that kids can have fun exploring their creativity.
Looby Lou Designs was founded by Lucy Bowler who has also written and illustrated story line instructions or poems within the kits to encourage the development of skills such as reading, writing, expression and visualisation. These short stories can help set the scene for children’s pictures and inspire them to get creative.
Lucy is a BA Design Craft student and mother of three who supports the introduction of craft at an early age saying “Some of my earliest memories are of asking my grandma to teach me to knit and crochet, making dolls and sending paintings to Tony Hart! I recognise that I had a great introduction to craft and I sincerely believe this has led to my interest now.”
This is why Looby Lou Designs contain the loveliest fabrics, hand dyed silk ribbons and the most interesting embellishments that little girls and boys will love. The kit’s packaging can also work as a canvas bag and can be personalised.
Lucy now has an ever-growing range including Little Art, Little Stitch, Mini Art, Children’s party in a box and Looby Lou’s Bits n Bobs, with plans to develop the range further.
