Little Shiann underwent heart transplant surgery just five months after she came into the world.

While her parents Cora and Troy Lockhart were worried for her, they were relieved when the surgery was a success.

Just a year later however, they got truly devastating news: Shiann had PTLD lymphoma, a type of cancer that afflicts transplant patients.

The disease began in the two-year-old’s brain and quickly spread to the rest of her body.

After months of treatment, the family made the difficult decision to discharge Shiann and bring her home to Columbus, Ohio, where she’s been in hospice care for the past month.

“Enough is enough, we thought,” mum Cora told Today. “She has been through too much in her brief life to have to deal with anything more.”

While they’re silently grieving for their girl already, Cora and Troy are determined to make the most of the time their daughter has left.

And they sure did that! Thinking about all of the major milestones in a girl’s life, her folks created a bucket list of a whopping 73 activities to do together!

Here are just a few of her adventures so far…

Last Saturday, her parents organised a prom for her at their local church…

…complete with a limo ride and all!

On her first ever date...with grandpa!

Mum’s friend actually collected this water from the ocean so Shiann could take a dip

Another friend sent her a Mickey Mouse driver’s license so she could rock out on dad’s four-wheeler

Then strangers got on-board and started Photoshopping her into their happy snaps. Here she is at Disney World…

And here she is catching a few rays in sunny Sydney

And while she might not be at her fittest, Shiann gave a mighty fine throw at her brother's baseball match recently. Check out her efforts below!
