Two brilliant ingredients made for each other in this easy recipe with succulent beef and crisp broccoli.
235ml beef stock
4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
65g brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
400g diced beef
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
4 tbsp cornstarch
400g Frozen broccoli florets
White or brown rice, cooked
In a large bowl, whisk together the beef stock, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, sesame oil, and garlic.
Lay the beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over, tossing to coat.
Cook on low for 5 hours.
Use 4 tablespoons of the cooking sauce and whisk it in a small bowl with the cornstarch.
Slowly stir this into the slow cooker.
Add the broccoli in at this point, stir and cook for 30 minutes.
Serve over white or brown rice.
