‘First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage’ – or not

A survey commissioned by Myriam Ben Yedder, UK managing director of American wedding store, found that nearly eight in ten women thought it was perfectly fine to become a mother before taking a trip down the aisle.
The YouGov survey also discivered that 90% of adults are happy enough to buy a house with their partner before tying the knot, which is a huge commitment itself.
It was also revealed that younger generations are more open-minded about their views on children and marriage, with many admitting they'd be happy to build a family before getting married.
Commenting on the results of the survey, Myriam said: “This survey illustrates that there is a shift away from traditional choices when it comes to marriage.”
Even today’s celebrities have embarked on parenthood before even thinking about wedding bells.
The Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie and Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt have six children and have not said the words ‘I do.’
Times are certainly changing.
