Young cancer patient takes internet by storm

There are very few adults who would have the amazing attitude this eight-year-old boy has.

 

Arthur Gonzaga is a young chef from Brazil who has taken the internet by storm with his online cookery show.

 

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, at the same time that he’s filming his culinary adventures, he’s also fighting leukemia.

 

Arthur was diagnosed with the illness in August 2013 and spent the remainder of the year in and out of hospital.

 

After spending Christmas Eve in a local emergency room, the boy’s father Renato and stepmother Priscila decided to do something special to take Arthur’s mind off what was happening.

 

The result was his very own online cooking show called Arthur Gourmand, where Arthur can share his amazing recipes with the whole world.

 

The videos are in Portuguese and show Arthur walking viewers through every single step of each of his creations, with amazing passion and enthusiasm. He has showed viewers how to make a variety of dishes, from filet mignon to yucca purée and even crème de passion fruit.

 

In the meantime, Arthur is responding well to his treatment and is making a steady recovery. We can’t wait to see what this amazing young man does next.
